About Us
Karns & Noble offers a team approach to school improvement, with a focus on literacy. Rachel Karns and Christine Noble collaborate on projects together, bringing their joint experience as successful teachers into every project. This Professional Learning Community (PLC) approach to consultation increases positive results.

Rachel Karns
*Bachelors of English Education from Whitworth University (Spokane, WA).
*MFA in Film/Television (emphasis: screenwriting) from Chapman University (Orange, CA).
Rachel is a 15 year ELA educator who has taught grades 7-12 in both Nevada and Idaho. Rachel has a passion for lesson design, curriculum development, the PLC process, and engagement strategies. Her secret weapon is engaging students’ curiosity through rigor and fun. Rachel believes that students want to learn and be challenged, and she believes any teacher can become instrumental in impacting even the most challenging kids with strong lesson design and delivery. Christine Noble

*School Board Trustee and President, Calaveras County Unified School District
*13 year educator at secondary level (English Language Development, intervention, college prep, honors and AP Literature & Composition)
Christine's passion is to champion for the success of all students. Christine believes in holding students to high standards while challenging herself to find creative and innovative ways to keep students and teachers engaged in the exciting process of learning. In the classroom, you will find Christine smiling and connecting with her students as they mix purposeful and dynamic conversation with challenging lessons. She is looking forward to partnering with you on your road to student engagement and achievement!
